Hiking and sleeping in the Dolomites

We offer hiking tours with a local guide as well, who has a lot of experience in mountaineering and much knowledge about the mountains. Click on the button on the right to see some photographs concerning a previous mountain excursion.

You can choose from several hiking tours:

Dolomites mountain excursion: Seiser Alm – Rosengarten

Pass through one of the most beautiful and very varying part of the Dolomites. The route will lead the hiker over mountain tops and through valleys. Each time the hiker will be completely surprised by the panoramic views.

The duration of such a hiking tour is 5-7 hours daily. At noon there is the possibility to have lunch in a cabin. The experienced mountain guide is always there to advise and to assist you. Spending the night will be in mountain refuges with double rooms or dormitories. On some locations you can take a shower. It is advisable to take the most relevant things in your backpack only, such as rain gear, a pair of sun glasses, thermal clothing, small flashlight, water bottle, casual shoes, towel, toilet requisites and good hiking shoes. A good physical condition is mandatory.

Rosengartenround, schedule from Saturday to Saturday:

1. Saturday: Arrival in Klausen with get together drink and spending the night
2. Sunday: Transport by cab or bus to Seiseralm, where the excursion starts, spending the night at Tierser Alpl-Hütte
3. Monday: Spending the night at Vaioloett-Hütte
4. Tuesday: Spending the night at Rosengarten-Hütte
5. Wednesday: Spending the night at Grasleiten-Hütte
6. Thursday: Spending the night at Schlernhaus
7. Friday: Back to Klausen, where we will stay and talk together about the adventures we had last week.

Mostly the tour will start and end in Klausen. The hiking group exists of minimal 6-8 persons. The guide can change the route if the weather is bad or if roads are closed.
