From Haus Reichhalter it takes approx. 10 walking minutes to reach the centre of Klausen, a traditional, mediaeval Old Town with many little shops and guesthouses. Klausen is centrally located, so it can easily serve as starting point for numerous walking-tours to other valleys, like Eisacktal, Seiseralm and Villnösser Tal, as well as to the Dolomites and their alms.
With a car you can simply reach other towns like Bozen, Meran and even Venice and of course the famous Garda-lake. Within 30 minutes winter sport fanatics can reach different ski regions as Plose, Gitschberg, Grödnertal, Seiseralm, Kronplatz, Obereggen, etc.
At two walking minutes from our apartment you can find a swimming pool, which during summertime gives enjoyable refraction. In the winter Brixen (10 car-minutes afar) offers an indoor swimming pool, fitness room and a sauna-landscape, which promises relaxed days and evenings.
Also at cultural level you can experience smaller and bigger highlights in Klausen: the Museum of Klausen lodges the recovered pieces of the Loreto-treasures, which were donated to our city from the Austrian empress Maria Theresia. Even the churches of the convent Säben are open for visitors. The city museum shows works from local and international artists.
